Real Delusion - More than sad

This is frightening. I have made it a point in all diaries about this election to remain calm, collected and hopefully clear about the points that I'm making.
Unfortunately, I saw some video clips that have caused me some unbelievable gas (well perhaps that's a bad choice of words) but anyway you get my point.
Here is the video clips that I'm having the gas with:
Senator Clinton speaks to the point in this clip:
Howard Wolfson
It is totally outrageous. The general premise is that even though she's losing in every matrix that is possibly out there that Senator Clinton seems to firmly believe (as do her talking heads) that the Super Delegates are going to wake up on Wednesday morning and start bailing out on Senator Obama simply because he lost West Virginia.
I am HIGHLY offended that Senator Clinton chose to compare her fight to that of President John F. Kennedy - talk about audacity. That's the audacity of dope I think.
It's unreal. So now a state that has a mere 5 electoral votes, a state that voted clearly Republican in 2000 and 2004 are going to make or break the election in the favor of Senator Clinton? You are kidding me of course right?
West Virginia, which seceded from Virginia (which itself had seceded from the Union) during the Civil War, became its own state in June 1863. It and Nevada were the only states admitted during the war, although Kansas became a state in early 1861, just a couple months before the hostilities began. Although the state sided with George Bush in both 2000 and by a fairly wide 56% to 43% margin in 2004, the state is primarily Democratic at the local and state levels. Of the presidential elections from statehood through 2004, voters went Democratic 20 out of 36 times. Much of this back –and forth (at least in recent history) can be attributed to the shifting views of the large blue-collar vote in the state. While leaning "red" in 2008, West Virginia could become a swing state, depending on the eventual match-up.
The margins in 2000 and 2004 were not even CLOSE. Providing false hope to the voters of West Virginia who have already made it perfectly clear they would not support Senator Obama is sort of like telling your child you're going to leave him in a store if they mis-behave. It's sick sick sick.
The real telling point is this:
While leaning "red" in 2008, West Virginia could become a swing state, depending on the eventual match-up.
COULD - if wishing were fishing we'd all have a fry.
This campaign strategy of Senator Clinton has finally reached a level that escapes any form of reality in my mind.
And all I'm going to say about this is that if the Super Delegates do what the Senator Clinton campaign anticipates that they MIGHT do then shame on all of them - they have NO right to consider themselves leaders.
Senator Clinton - you're now causing far more harm than good. I no longer have any faith in your statement that you will work tirelessly for the good of the party. You've proven in your statements and by the statements of your talking heads that you have only one goal - that is to secure this nomination by whatever means are available to you. Shame on you Senator Clinton - for putting your personal ambition above the good of the Democratic Party.
I can't believe that she's actually going to use this win to start an entirely new campaign. Please Super Delegates after your meeting with her tomorrow at 10:00 am please please come out and support Senator Obama and send this poor delusional woman back for some much needed help!
/Rant over - so sorry :)
